5FDP you are correct using a wide band with lambda error
as an alt. to droping the tank get the diagram for the 5v going to the ftp if it is not spliced to anything else out side the ecm then ya can pop that pin outta the ecm connector
unplug the ftp sensor they are known for going bad and shorting the 5 volt circuit.
