Ok, I'll see if I can get some screen shots of what I mean. And No, it's not the "differences" I'm looking at...made sure I double checked that. But, more important than that is my question regarding...
When using the compare function? What do the highlighted in green sections mean? I have taken this to mean that those are the sections where some things are different but, I just want to be sure?
I'm not sure if this is the correct section to post this question in but, it seems logical....So, I am working with my 2000 GMC Sierra P01 ECM.. I currently have a canned tune from a DiabloSport...
Thanks, I realized after I posted this question and looked at the gear wizard that it has that option. Sooooo.... I guess it was kinda a stupid question.
I hope this isn't a stupid question and forgive me if it's easy for some but, if I change from a 3.73 gear to a 4.30 gear, do I need to change anything else in the tune except the gear ratio or is...
Thanks!! I really want to know what stuff is and why I am changing it. I've realized this is not a quick learning process that I'll nail in a weekend. I've actually decided to take a step back, slow...
I hope this doesn't seem like a dumb question but, can you make changes to a tune "on the fly" or do you always have to read, make changes and then write?
Thanks!! I am now going to do research on exactly what Transient>Min Fuel Milligrams is and what importance it will play in my injector data..... Seems that one question answered brings up 10...
Also, can someone help me with a list of channels I should actually log instead of just logging everything? I'm attempting to simplify this and then add to things as I go.
I appreciate the replies fellas and Ben, I will definitely be contacting you in the coming months. But, until then I've been looking, reading and attempting to learn. I've realized a couple things...
But, I gotta ask cause I don't know. What is the difference between the new version and the old version of your data? Cause I moved over the data from the old version I beleive from the thread about...
I am very new to using HP and have started to build a tune for my new engine set up. I was able to download the injector data and move it over to my tune without a problem. Thank you for having that...
Thanks for the suggestions!!
Does anyone have any recommendations for an email tune for a 2000 Sierra with a small cam? I have the MPVI3, ProLink+ and will soon have the AEM wideband to hook to it for logs. There obviously is...
Thank you, I didn't think so but, I just wanted to make sure. So, it looks like the little bit cheaper AEM 30-0300 is the wideband to get then.
And I have the MPVI3
Is the PCM in my 2000 Sierra CAN based? I believe it's the P01 PCM. As in, can I use the AEM 30-0334 OBDII through connector or will I have to use ProLink+ and wire the 30-0300 gauge/controller?...
Thanks for the reply! By stock tune I mean the P01 PCM 2000 Sierra tune from my truck. I have found the proper injector data for the LC9 injectors I'll be using and I managed to get that info moved...
