"The knock sensors are directly under the intake, right below the foam insulating material around the injectors. Not sure about the Cobalts...

I am totally aware of that. But what I'm after here is an example of what IAB means when he talks about the 3bar sensors giving you the ability to control, which you don't have with the stock sensors.
Tell me if I'm understanding this correctly:
With the stock sensors I can limit boost up to 21psi. But if I wanted to boost up to 24psi, it wouldn't work since it's out of the stock sensors range...
Did anything ever come of this feature request? Seems like it would be easy to implement in the scanner. Would be very helpful when sending logs to a tuner and pointing out spots you want them to...
I'm sorry if I turned this thread to a Wester's bashing session. I have some occasional knock, it's not constant through the entire rev range. In my initial tunes there was a little more knock but...
I don't have 8, I've never had more than 3* with his tunes. mostly 1-2*
If you put regular in a car marked premium, usually they still work fine, this is because of the knock sensors right? If this is true then I guess the tune constantly wants to try more advanced...

So I have seen HP Tuners for sale from a guy on my forums who has a 2008 Saturn Sky 2.4. I have a 2007 Saturn Sky Redline 2.0. He has a recently purchased USB HP Tuners Pro. He's not so tech saavy so...
