There is no start/stop button on the 2015 Malibu. When in manual mode it will only allow you to shift to 2nd gear and will deny any further shifting.

So to my very limited knowledge, there are multiple factors for Auto stop/start. I believe you only have to change one and that can be ECT, min speed, etc. I know that trifecta tuning does a disable...
