So can we use them after the cat or is still advisable to use before the cat?
Russ is there any chance that our Camaro's do come with the vette servo? Alot of people say it's already in there? Just trying to get a definate conclusion.
Russ is that all we have to change is the upshift torque reduction with these servo's, even if we go with the billet servo?
Russ how much can the 4L60E handle, horsepower wise? Can it be built to take some punishment?
I was wondering the same thing as I was thinking about doing the "wake up kit" as it also replaces the overdrive servo for improved 3-4 shift. Any tips here Russ? Also what all has to be changed in...
Should I be limiting the count on the histogram to 50 or so or just leave it be. Didn't know if it made any difference, but have heard to get a least 50 hits per cell for a good average. Also does it...
Here is the original tune.
Gotcha! I will post the original tune when I get back on the laptop.
Do you mean the changes I made from both scans?
Thank you Bill for all the info!
I will set the dynamic airflow disable on my next scan and go from there, just good to know I am going the right way. That's why I stopped tuning yesterday just to make sure it was right. I still...
So I am going in the right direction yes? I did use the vcm control to force open loop on those scans, but thanks for the tip. I was told by Russ K that the VE didn't need to be tuned and could just...
Anybody????
Here are the two scans we did today and made changes to the tune after the first and then made adustments after the second, but it doesn't seem like we are getting any closer on the MAF AFR % being...
Thanks Bill for that tip, I will use that on my next tuning attempt after this rain stops around here. One more thing Bill, just to make sure I am doing it right. After I log the AFR % error, I just...
So even though I am not getting the SES light I am in open loop. I am trying to tune the MAF, so I need to be in open loop for that correct? BTW how can I tell from that scan that I am in open loop,...
I pulled my driver side 02 sensor to put in the wideband 02, that should put me in open loop correct? It didn't set the SES light after doing that so I wasn't sure if I was really in open loop. I did...
Russ after I scan the idle cfg, what do I need to look for to make changes to the RAF. Also how do I figure out what my WOT spark timing should be? Is there some log I can scan or do I need to make...
I have my stock tune saved and that's where I started from. I am very new to this tuning, but am learning slowly. If yours is a corvette I would think there should be some differences. I don't think...
Thanks for taking a look! The only thing I did was change the last column (100) to 0 in the Force Motor Current settings. I also have disabled TM since posting that tune.
We have been getting the same code after a cam install. So we are also trying to figure it out.
I found out how to do that so disregard last question about the 0-60 psi setting. Can I run this trans tune in my stock 99SS? It does have LT headers, lid and GMMG catback.
Thanks Russ, so I need to change the base shift pressure (normal) Am I looking for trouble with shift pressures that high? How do I make the change to the 0-60 psi setting, still trying to learn all...
Anyone? Forgot to put in there that this is a 99 Camaro SS with LT headers, lid and GMMG catback.
I just wanted to make sure the trans tune is ok and still somewhat safe? Don't need or want to be buying a trans to soon.
