give me a call during the week and we will get this sorted out. Steve 909 910 3867
You don't need the bcm to make this system run. Lots of lnf/lhu engines are used in sand cars, boats , etc with just the ecu. Steve
No tach output on E37. Tach is driven 1 of 3 ways. Can buss tach, with tach driver module sensing coil voltage dip, off of alternator ac tap. Questions, Give me a call. Steve 909 910 3867
With that engine, just go to manual t/b and a p11 ecu. you will have to rein harness. questions? give me a call. Steve 909 910 3867
I talked to you before, give me a call. Steve
You don't need anything else to do these tests. pm me if you need some help. Steve
Welcome Charles, Both the SS and the gxp have the same LNF engine and E69 ecu. Your hp tuners setup will enable you to read, change, and reload cals. Read the current cal and save it for the future...
All data has all the pinout info you need. both the E 67, and E37 will do what you want. If you are going to get serious about this project you will need a subscription to tis, and an mdi or other GM...
Give me a call during the week. We will sort this out. Steve 909 910 3867
we can make this work for you. If your system works we can make some sort of trade. Steve 909 910 3867
We use this engine , ecu combo on sand cars without any other inputs (tcm, bcm, speed, etc). Questions ? give me a call. Steve 909 910 3867
Sorry, just saw this thread. You don't need a vss input for manual trans. We have done 1000+ of these. Think marine, sand cars, aircraft, etc all have no vss. PM me if you have Questions. Steve
Pm me and I will help you sort it out. Steve
Yes, see #2 above. You must be missing something in the wiring. Does the TB test cycle happen when you key on?. Steve
If you have everything connected on the bench ,your throttle should work. Steve
Both work well standalone without bcm or vss, The E39 is prefered. The E67 was never a problem working standalone. Steve
Yes the E37 does have a flex full input on the hhr. Steve
Does the pump come on when you key on then stop, or not at all. After key on ecu waits for a crank signal. Question ? pm me steve
Booster is correct. You need tis (GM software) to set up a basic cal for the 4 cyl and tune from there. Give me a call as we have done at least 20 of these in the Miata's. Steve 909 910 3867
PM me I have pin outs for the lhu/E39. Steve
Some of the later systems have electric thermostats that are controlled by the ecu. Steve
No, the e39 does not have a tach output. Drive the tach thru can buss, coil pack drive , or alternator. Steve
We have run the saab motor w/o the cam or ionization module, but went with the gm mefi controller in the race car application. Steve
Map sensor (manifold air pressure ) has no orientation.
Maf (mass air flow ) has an arrow to show which direction it must be placed. Steve
