I didn't think the process would be hard as the 6.0 and 6.2 are very similar. Just am new to the whole process of tuning cars. It is something I would love to get into.

I'd definitely like it not to be a one time thing as i have plans to v8 swap my Bonneville as well so i would definitely like to learn how to tune the parameters correctly. But again this is all new...
I know the 2009 g8 comes stock with the ls3 but this is an 08 so im just new to programming and im trying to figure out if its as simple as loading a tune from the 09 to the 08. Sorry if thats a dumb...
Our shop does have the Tech 2 as well as the SPS but am not sure if swapping the engine from the 6.0 to the ls3 id be able to program the needed parameters into the existing ECM. IS that true or no?

There was no tune supplied with the engine. I only got the engine from GM the PN is 19434642. So all i need to do is flash the existing ECM with the MPVI3 for the specs of the new engine correct?
