Need some help swaping a 4L60 into a car that had a 4L80. The car starts out in first and will only shift into second. Is this a common problem?? Can somone modify this file?

Here is the stock tune along with a Dyno tuned one. Stock was 323 whp and tuned was 343 whp no cats. 160 stat. Car ran 13.8 stock after tuning runs 13.0. Need to get the shift much crisper.

Are you talking about Displacment on Demand? Can you just disable it to turn it off?

Flashing a reman computer. Can you flash a reman computer with HP Tuners software? Or do you have to have it flashed and then make the changes to the program. This is on a 97 Corvette.

Russ I try ed the car now and it does the same thing at 86 mph dropping in and out of lock-up. What does the TCC pwm do? It stays locked up in 4th with that on in the VCM controls. HELP!!

Is there a way to lock the converter at a certain speed and gear?

Tried the car today. The speedo is right on, but the converter does not lock in 4th. Its hard to tell on the dyno I need to take it down the road and try it.

The trans was built by RPM to take the horsepower and I talked to them and they were not to helpfull the car has 2.73 in the rear gear. No DTC
