I agree to some extent, by altering the force motor tables or shift pressures, but the proper way to do it is mechanically with a shift kit. A stock trans can only be pushed so far before stuff...
I don't see why it wouldn't work. Its my understanding that a segment swap is necessary if going from say a 4L60e to a 4L80e. The 98 computer should be able to control a later model trans if they are...
Add a shift kit and a corvette servo. Eliminating TQ management will not firm up your shifts.
If the transmission is stock, I would leave torque management alone. Why get rid of it on a stock transmission?
When you rebuilt the tranny did you check the solenoids and the pressure switch? Both are relatively cheap and easy to replace. Sometimes if shift solenoid B is not working properly the trans will...
In your tune, I would start by putting your max shift pressure back to stock. Shift pressure upshift and shift pressure modifier back to stock values. I assume you are using a shift kit, let the kit...
I did not have a chance to look at your tune. A couple of thoughts, the ATF is usually checked while in Park, engine hot. Your car may be different but the instructions are usually printed on the dip...
Could you post a stock file for your car?
Don't know what stall are you running but the part throttle shift tables don't look quite right. Can you post the stall?
Do you have a shift kit...

Yes, you will need to make changes to the programming for the torque
converter. There is a spreadsheet you can use from Bluecat that will calculate
the values for TCC apply and release, WOT values...
I got a response from Bill@hptuners, apparently this function is not available for my 1999 suburban. Will have to probably use a Tech 2 to have the TAPs reset.
I am new to using this program so please be gentle. I am working on a 1999
Chevrolet Suburban 4x4 with a 4L60E. Transmission recently rebuilt, stall converter..etc. I would like to reset the TAPS...
