Make Sure your Transmission Temps are warm enough
I disabled Adaptive shift pressures and it helped my in my A6 Corvette
Now Im doing this mod on my 03 Caddy...
Im using the 05 Truck fans with a harness from Nelson.
It is Plug and play, except for the tuning.
I thought I read somewhere to set the fan type as...
Sport mode wasn't locking at highway speeds.
I fixed that and MPG's are better.
I did a cruise in D mode and logged
Then I did a cruise in Sport Mode
What do you think?
I will try to log some highway cruises this weekend.
But would that affect Highway driving or just in town?
On Last logging the TCC seemed to be working properly
The mod is a mild cam and tune.
The TCC Settings were stock. I remember reading somewhere that GM set up the TCC settings to me more conservative on fuel consumption.
Ive had my car running great and shifting even better. A lot of fun to drive.
My problem is my MPG is lower than before.
Would it have anything to do with the TCC settings that I adjusted?
...
I ended up resetting all adaptive trans settings in the scanner. and did a fast relearn.
No Flare up and shifts are fast
I can get the PID's in the chart from the table
I only have one option in tranny diag
Im learning my way through the tranny, But Im lost at the spark limiter.
Where is that at?
Scratch- Found it.
In looking for a quick shift, wont that slow it down by putting it back to...
OK I adjusted the torque axis and it gave me a bad flare up on 2-3 Even though I put flare to none in TQ Management
I also but TUTD to Y
my 1-2 is crisp and fast
I had a different feel for y (sport mode) an z (paddle mode). That's why I had that.
I could change it back, but then would I duplicate the pressure pattern for Y and Z?
Pressures or times?
Im happy with my Tune and all is good except my 2-3 shift in Paddle mode
Auto mode and sport mode are great.
in Paddle mode 1-2 is fun 2-3 is sloppy, 3-4 is crisp, 4-5 and 5-6 are spot on.
...
I don't want to jinks myself but I have been driving around all day in D mode and Paddle shift and no problems at all.
is it possible that by disabling CT Adaptive pressure that fixed my issue.
The Higher the RPM The more noticeable.
When Down shifting in Paddle mode say from 4-3 the engine revs and then shifts CT Torque reduction. on my 5-4 it just engages the gear quickly.
If I go...
I’ve got an annoying problem that I’m hoping you can point me in the right direction.
I’ve got my Tans shifting fast and fun. In D Mode she is smooth and easy, In Sport mode she is crisp...
I went to the Dyno shop today and…Bingo-Forgive my lack of tech talk here but… the C6 TCM has shift slippage sensors for each shift point. At one time while tuning the computer sensed this and...
made the changes and got up the street. Made a uturn and the car would barely get home. in gear it would surge jerk and other things...
in N it revved just fine.
See the Scans.
I couldnt find ETC... What do you mean by the Cold Multiplier
No change on the 5-4 shift. All the other up shifts are flaring before the shift at WOT with the stock TCC
Thanks- I will put that tune in today and try her out and post back.
