I don't specifically know the answer, but I'd start by looking at the Engine Idle settings.
LS2 support aside... anyone else drooling at the v2 interface...
Hi MNR-0,
The "Tow/Haul" switch does the same as the "Power" button on the A4 commodores - except of course that the trans calibrations for it would be set up to help with towing.
Not sure if...

Thanks for the help Chris. My new logged trans data mades a little more sense after making that change. Wasn't the quick fix for my TCC issues - but now it looks like it will be easier to associate...
That makes sense - although it assumes the pulses/mile value is correct ;)
Since there isn't a clear answer on why there is a difference - do you have a suggestion on which way I should go? (Maybe...
Hi Chris, a question on this if I may.
I looked at 2 stock bins for Commodores with 235/45 R17's - and found the Tyre Size value down as 24.80. I have the same tyres - which were set by a Tech2...
I'm a novice with little knowledge on this subject - but there could be a valid explanation for the screen capture shown.
The knock sensors in our Holden LS1's are known to be rather poor - prone...
Still running a standard Holden battery that is a few years old? They are not known to last all that long.
A few symptoms people see with an ailing battery - car occasionally hard to start,...
I've noticed some of the posts - surprisingly good results. (Which was why I was so impressed to hear you guys already supported the VZ.)
Had the VT for longer than planned, but still have no...
The cars have barely started to leave the dealerships - top effort gents!
Thanks Chris - much appreciated.
This little issue has caused me a lot of grief. Explains a lot - including why my logged trans data would never seem to match the calibration changes.
I feel...

I think the important bit is "excessively oiled". I've seen the result of an excessively oiled K&N filter - a film of a gritty black substance across the MAF, coating the inside of the MAF pipe and...
Then my Op Sys is 9381344.
It is helpful knowing I am not the only person experiencing this.
How do you tell what Op sys you are using? I have an Op Sys id of 9381344?
You mention soft TCC apply pressures - how do you change that?
;)
And here I was quoting information I got off this forum (from another hptuner gent) when I asked the same question :p
It is a custom Pro-converter - basically a standard converter rebuilt by a local Melbourne company, to the additional specs of my transmission guy. The standard converter is rated at about 1800. This...
There was nothing special requested with my TC, so I can probably discount that then.
I'm going to have to go and do more data logging - I don't seem to be able to trust what I am feeling on the...
In VCM Editor:
. open .bin file
. Select Edit > Engine Diagnostics > DTC's
. Press F1, and read the help file.
. Go through the long list of DTCs and change as required.
Actually - it depends on if the tuner locked the PCM via LS1Edit or not.
If locked, you wouldn't be able to download and edit the tune. If unlocked, then you'll have no problem.
(No prizes for guessing I'm back at trying to nut out my TCC settings... and finding more questions than answers ;) )
Can a Torque Converter "lock" itself once up past its hi-stall speed?

Obviously without access to the desired and slip gain tables it is difficult to work out what exactly is going on. However I can't quite associate my settings and logs with what has been said here.
