I am using usb to tcm using gm performance software.
Tried and must be doing something wrong. Cant seem figure out how change file type to upload.

I must be doing something wrong. It want let me change the file to different type when saving file so could upload.

Tried multiple times and manage attachments says cpm.file is invalid

I've had it programmed as manual and wires are hardwired to the ECM. ECM shows vehicle speed in pid.
Calculated wheel speed in ECM or TCM software. Going go look at both.

Check make sure cam sensor is wired correctly. I had same problem few months back. Wiring harness builder had cam, maf and something else wrong.

Another odd thing.
The TCM doesn't show. Can't do read with HP tunes. But when use my snap-on scanner as 2008 chevy express van with 5.3L the scanner comms correctly.

The VSS is directly connected to the ECM (X1 connector pins 71&72). Thats why I'm at loss. The ECM displays MPH in scanner, but trans controller doesn't show MPH.

Can the fuel tank capacity be changed and it function correctly? I'm looking at ordering 66 or 68 gallon tank for my truck. But before spend 1K to be able program the truck. Can be done?

Had speartech make harness for 66 chevelle that i swapped ls3/6speed auto that was perfect out of the box. They had few options for shift indicator, cruise control ( and switch for older gm column)....

You was right the cam sensor was wired worng. Also found the MAF sensor wired wrong. Both connectors was wired backwards.

I was manual trans. I have performance built 4L60E installed with GM performance TCM controler. I have not yet done the TCM program setup.

I did full write.
No codes currenty setting. I did have repin the APP sensor do having signal returns wires switched.

The 4.3L was never offered with manual trans. In the Tune guy set it up without spped sensor. I've since changed tune to have vss. Know name of the company sells module?
