It's not an '03 thing. I have talked to Bill and then I took my truck (04) to 2 different dealers. They both said that the PCM does not request a VIN so consequently it doesn't report one.

If I were you I would download a stock tune for your car and compare. Doesn't seem to me there should be so much difference between yours and mine. I'm no expert, that's for sure.
