First gear lockup isint anything new...but getting it to work via ecm command is...
Which are you referring to?
It'll respond in manual 2nd. In drive it will not
What is the issue?
HP Tuners has made it quite clear since their release that they do not and will not support VIN change..as nice, easy, and problem solving as it might be.
Smarty has found a way to lock the ecm AFTER being returned to stock.
Frost plugs like to exit around 48-5000...so I'd say 4500 is a decent limit
Weird...as with most of my stock turbo tuning, I just set the min DC to 80% and 40 all day long with stock fuel
Manual Trucks need to have a specific pin on teh ECM grounded to work.
Google is your friend for the exact pin, as I dont remember it.
Are you reading boost via obd or mechanical
I have no idea why with HPT the modification of this table to 42* does what we are seeing.
I agree that ALL of my 5.9 Efi live tunes are set to 42* with no ill effect.
Any of you modify ECM 7439?
If so, return to stock and report back your findings.
So did you build your timing maps for your commanded pulse in HPT, or did you just guess for when stacked?
Never got an email
You would think so, however most of the trucks in question will not return to idle even with any simple adjustment to the file.
Your welcome to send me those files and associated logs and I'll look when I have some time
I don't have any truck 2003-2005 with supporting mods unable to get over 4k weather in gear or free-rev
Saying that late CR have more injector issues is simply false.
#1 cause of injector failure is contamination. Not one year is less subject than another.
There are many thousands of trucks with...
2003-2004 are not supported for balance rates
Your #6 is either getting ready to roach itself or the needle is sticking
+\- 1-2 is a healthy injector
+\- 3 is a weak injector
+\- 4 is a dead injector
Cmb controllers can't be RTT via OBD-II.
So you have a log showing 188mm3 of fuel rate?
So would you like to explain how after thousands of tunes I've sent out between EFI and HPT all having the 25% row with higher than stock values...and never a single problem until now with HP and...
