i agree with Jake, why not just put the max MPH per gear across the board in the shift speed section.
or HD2
here is the file, it was read using: version 2.23.718
i have no clue what version it was written with since it was done by another local tuner prior to me owning the vehicle.
i havent even plugged into the car yet. it was tuned before the converter, i'll plug in and save the current tune and post it in a little bit.
after doing research it seems the TCC line pressure...
should add, not sure if it matters but this is for a 98 Fbody.
why dont i have anything in the general pressure tab? do i need some sort of update?
VCM Suite Product: VCM Editor version 2.23.718
i'm trying to get my 9.5" converter not to slip on light...
the difference between my hi and low tables is ALWAYS 15%. i set both tables to the same base which is usually 2-3 degrees advance. then tune the hi table. once its all set i just copy it to the...
you realize that the burst knock table is a predetermined amount of timing to be pulled on big transitions. mine is set to 2 degrees. thats not going to cause 28 degrees of timing difference...
:banghead:
TM is completely gone. cat lightoff is just at warmup, i dont make any logs until operating temp is achieved.
thats the wrong tune. the tune i am using is 06 based, but VE, MAF, and PE has all...
what do you mean base timing??? all i have is hi and LO octane tables.
i changed some things, going to take a ride later on. the tune i attached up top isnt even the right one, but the LOG is....
i guess we are pretty much on our own with the colorados.
hell im getting knock retard at idle, nuetral revs, and decel. there really isnt much knock on accel. cruising at a steady rpm and TPS i...
thanks for the input but honestly i know about the KR, what im trying to figure out is why im not getting the commanded timing??? i thought my BK tables were zero'd thanks for letting me know about...
no help???
you cant use the standard version and a wideband without wiring the wideband into the EGR or A/C. basically its semi-permenant on the vehicle after doing so. you will have to set up a custom HISTO...
its a 04 colorado. recently went to an 87 octane tune, then today back to my 93 octane tune, and made a quick drive as always just to make sure everything is good to go. well, everything felt fine...
the interface shouldnt be causing false codes, but theres no telling. i would email support about this.
that makes better sense! i guess i misunderstood!
look at the order page, you have to select which manufacterer you need it for!
http://www.hptuners.com/order.php
even if it was supported you would need the Ford software to do it. GM, Ford, and Dodge all use different VSM suites from what i understand you would need each one to do each different manufacturer.
yes it is flustrating to me too. i dont know why it cant clear some of the codes, the only thing that made sense to me was because they are stored in the BCM and the PCM is pulling them from their...
i dont know either, but compare a stock log and a tuned log and watch the "TC desired torque".
thats crazy! have you seen numbers that high since then??? i've always though 100% would lock them open.
wouldnt 100% be locked open???
i dont see how you are hitting that high of a number. most i've seen on our trucks is 80ish%. thats pretty high in my opinion for any vehicle with just bolt ons.
thats percentage of calculated engine torque. if you arent making 100% engine torque it wont hit 100%.
