Thanks anyhow Bill.
Got the HW search pointing to the desk and it recognized the MPVI USB. Now it's on to the car!!
Already did that. Is there a special place to UNZIP the files?
I cant get the drivers or HW recognized by this XP machine. Device manager sees the HP Tuners MPVI USB but there's two instances and both have yellow question marks.
Already tried this too:...
Guys,
When logging why is it that there's no default (read can't delete) function for saving the data before it can be erased? I mean every SW solution I know of prompts you to save the file(s)...
Wow!! Thanks for this Bluecat.
This is a brand new LS3 Vette correct? If so, how in the hell could it be a broken MAF sensor? Get some carb cleaner and makes sure the wires have no oil on them like Mike (WS6FirebirdTA00) said.
...
^^^^ Listen to this man...he knows what he's talking about.
Use mine if you'd like:
Put the car in CL and take a log with this config. to see how the O2's are switching and the misfires go bye-bye.
Oops...I meant to type closed-loop.
ktoonsez - Have you tried putting the car in open loop and seeing if it still misfires?
I agree and you're logging way to many PID's IMHO as well. :D
Also, why are you logging at such a low rpm and kpa?
Never logged misfires.
Yes both are enabled now. But the car runs a ton better in OL. VE is tuned almost perfectly so we may stay in OL if we cant figure out why it acts so goofy in CL.
I have one...whats the question?
I'll second that!! http://images.corvetteforum.com/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif
Nope, not sure I'd go that route anyway but that's an idea.
Mine switch this way also. Seems to be "normal" w/ LT's. We maxed out the LTFT (turned them off) and the car does much better.
I just added a WB log...sorry for the confusion.
Cam is a 227/235 .614/.621 114LSA +2 advance. Here's a WB log too. ktoonsez, what's your email address?
Here's an CL log I did. We can't find any proportional adjustments in the LS3 cal like the LS1 to fix this.
I recently put a cam in the car and WB tuned it afterwards. Thing seemed fine but over the last few weeks the 02's have never switched as they should and the car feels like the fueling is way off...
Very impressive Mike.
Its working guys Mike and I put about 5* more timing and we're seeing no KR so far. We're gonna keep increasing the sensitivity until we see knock. From 19* to 25* is a nice SOTP bump. :)
Thanks. I'll give that a try.
I'm pulling a lot of timing and I am to the point now where I feel it may be false knock. I've pulled timing out without much if any changes to the knock. Car has headers a cold air setup and that is...
