'sup man! Yea, I am alive. Life is a little rough right now, and has been for about 1.5 years. It's slowly improving though (except for the fact that the balt got keyed and slashed). I had to...
It seems as if you may have a problem. If you are running 1.3ms at 3.6MAF, I would hate to see what you are running at idle! These injectors do NOT like low PWs, which is why I ultimately went to a...
No problem. Have fun.
done.
Nice to hear. I'm glad you got a few HP out of it, but getting that result out of a basic tune was not necessarily the big benefit. The real plus is that it will make everything easier and more...
No offense to anyone who uses it, but MAF scaling is a silly way to tune your injectors. MAF is air, injectors are fuel. It's like changing your tires because your clutch is slipping. If you want...
Thanks man. and I haven't had my laptop anywhere near my car for over a year. She still puuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssssss, and damn she's fast. :)
Of course it works! :)
Well, in my adder, i do not have the option of entering negative numbers. Shouldn't be needed though. If you are rich, there is a problem somewhere else.
No, adding .900 to your adder will make it flow an extra .900 at that commanded pw and make you richer. If you are running rich at idle, there is another parameter that is wrong somewhere. The...
Something like that, yea. :)
Ouch, wait no!!
If you put in .1 and that sent you rich, you need to go .090 or lower instead of .1000. lol
The adder adds PW to the injectors at certain commanded PWs to make up for the non linear areas of the injectors. I'll use round numbers to illustrate:
Let's say that you notice that you are...
We are thinking of two different types of misfires. I am talking about your injectors. When injectors are told to flow below their linear range, they fire inacuratly and create a lean condition. ...
The problem is lean misfire at low PWs. Log the PWs where the errors are happening and adjust your short PW adders accordingly. See my tuning 60s how to for a little more detail around doing that.
Thanks WOP.
Actually, setting the modifier vs volts back to 1 would be putting it back to its stock configuration. You are correct that the injectors do fire differently in lower voltage situations as they do...
Kinda what I am poitning out to you. Your logs are bad if you are sending those logs. Dude, you are recording trims that don't exist on our cars, so you are averaging trims that read what they...
Okay... Ummm... How are you collecting data to tune your tables? Step 1 for HPTuners is to learn the scanner. It does TONS of stuff. If you don't have the right info, you can never get anywhere.
Post the updated tune and a log of OL and if you can, a CL log. Something is not right here. Also, are your injectors flow matched? If so, what was the average static flow rate?
Edit - I just...
yep.
It's possible, but that can be tuned out. I do not recommend the boost bypass mod.
Your offsets are too high and as 04redline04 said your stoich needs to be 14.7. try that for starters. I posted the tune here. DL it and steal the offset tables. Use my adder to start with as...
Some light reading for you. Check out some of the stuff towards the bottom of the page that deals with GMVE and temp modelling:

easy, I don't sleep. :)
