Where do you turn off the desired airmass tables?
Cheers
Hey mate. Best thing to do is modify the valve body. Put a seal kit through it and drill the plate in a couple of spots and your done :) then just adjust your shift points. Thats all u need to do....
Its in the BAs
Way to much idle timing for that cam which is relatively mid size, I run bigger cams then that 15-20 degrees idle with plastic intake. I would say, possibly not enough idle air, to much timing,...
Just my experience. With e38s I increase the inj timing value to advance injector timing around reversion areas and idle to stop fuel blowing down the ex. To stop reversion I advance it. I have...
ive seen this to guys, i run tech edge with the scan tool.
nice work mate, as soon as u turn off learnt idle airflow it all becomes easy, I run 240 cams in DD with these no issues they drive so well and make a lot of power its the only way to go.
Keep it in OL and run .91 lambda in OL, CL waste of time , run more timing at cruise and advance injection timing to suit camshaft it will clean up, all my e38 setups drive like stock,
There is a LOT of work in getting them right in all areas. They have to be all closely looked at. Once idle air is right look at VE, ignition timing should be stable (but this alone wont cure it). I...
I'm not an expert by all means on Fords, but the obvious was all wrong, Bit more road noise then a Holden but very nice to drive. We did some more tuning today afrs 11.3-11.5 region, likes it there...
I looked at a BA today was a NA 6 they bolted a process west intercooler kit on it and factory turbo. Has a 3200 rpm TCE convertor in it made 298rwkw unlocked on a well known Gold coast shop(SCT...
cheers, thanks for the advice...
Do you prefer the BA power over FG Dale?
Looking at getting a new FG so maybe might get myself SCT going from what Dale has mentioned. So far so good with HPT haven't had any issues only slow flash times and batterys goin flat at times lol.
Again I can see why you do it on Ford's. But Holdens have a better spark table. I just get the VE table right and make up a custom map that tracks KPA. I generally set PE to 70-80 kpa for most NA...
20 psi at 2000rpm lol who needs a blower!
OK, spark isnt to much of an issue more so the fuel side of things with the tables they have in place. I'm driving a 4 valve BA with a vortech on it to work now that has been done with SCT. It is a...
Zero out all the proportional tables and leave integral stock.
It is a PI controller. Proportional is learnt data, Integral is the direct input.
ie Integral is short term idle trim

I run colder plugs, run B8EFS with turbo stuff does not effect drivability or fuel economy, I can run more timing and I keep an eye on the number 7. There a tad cold but helps a bunch. The last one...
That's what appears to be the case. Yes a lot of tuners doing that. But I seen Dale from CHE who knows his stuff on just about all engines mention that he has played with a lot of fuel tables and...
I've heard you switch two wires around on them. Unsure which ones though?
That's correct Bill otherwise I would just run a MAF :)
Hi Grant, No it doesn't fit but I presume you could do something with it. Only reason I ask is because all the blown 3V tunes I have looked at all are running 1 bar map sensors. The car in question...
What are guys using for the 3V Barra Ford V8 for 2 bar map sensors on boost conversions.??? From what I have read so far(and the tunes I have looked at). I have only seen the 1 bar maps retained...
