Thanks! I will take a look in there later this morning when I hook up my Windows machine. (Really wish they had a Mac version of the software since it is my primary :( )
X3's all around me, would be nice to use an existing, and familiar, product to dig into them
According to the service manual, 230 is middle of the operating range for the 3.6. I wish there was an actual gauge for coolant temp on it. But hell, can't even get a volt gauge out of them
I appreciate it a ton. By changing only a few settings I can narrow it down a lot faster. I will probably push a few of those RPM limits back up since it still pulls hard up to 6800-7000. It was...
Looks like this solved the problem. So now I get to figure out why that is.
You didn't change much but I did see a couple interesting things in there, most notably that you solved another mystery...
Thanks man! I will take a look and then give it a try later today. I do see the code U1118 (current) which doesn't make a whole lot of sense considering it is clearly communicating. I will pull the...
I would *hope* it isn't overfilled since it has never been touched (only 40k miles on it) but I will definitely check it out. I suppose the fluid could also be cooked
Thanks! I will compare the two tonight and let you know what I find. Also just got my wideband hooked up so hopefully I can get some solid logging done now as well.
Yeah, mine is already unlocked, had to do that for the supercharger. I was glad to see that someone with an OEM tune was also having the issue though.
The HPTuners setup is actually a good deal...
@richhurley what are the GS Torque Reduction table vals? I don't see this specific set of tables on my '15 JKU
Did you ever solve this? I have had the same problem multiple times. A couple times it has actually died and I had to wait a bit to get it started. Not fun when I'm climbing a very large obstacle and...
You see more PIDs with it running vs connected with the key 'On'? This true for most Chrysler vehicles?
Are you still doing the re-flash? And would it be worth it for use with my 2015 Jeep Wrangler? I inadvertently picked up a 30-0300 instead of a 30-0334 a few months back and its too late to return...
@Kmoney I see from an old thread that you had a very similar issue. Were you able to identify the cause and fix it?
Jan from HPT suggested that I flash the TCM back to stock, see if it goes away,...
Dang, thought I attached the log and the tune both. Here it is
I've read a lot, and learned a lot, and believe this is a tuning issue...
I have noticed several times that when I take off from a light, stop sign, etc. that my Jeep seems very underpowered (and...
Yeah, that's kind of what I have been gathering the more I look into it. What I still can't figure out is how the PCM and TCM know to change shift behavior in 4Lo. Can't seem to find a PID that...
Here's a new read of the tune as well. I really don't see anywhere for the mode to be set to 4WD, though I have seen it on other vehicles
I'm starting to troubleshoot some shift issues I've been having and noticed that the Trans Shift Mode is always 4WD. How is this determined by the PCM/TCM? My initial thought was the Transfer Case...
