yeah, same as teh 2 I have here as well
it's nice to see another coherent and civilized post in regards to this in here aside from my own.
some of you guys need to calm down and be a little more understanding.
and Julex I see the...
I dunno, I am anxious and want to see this, but I wouldnt' hold it against Chris at all. the fact is that you are still running a company, and if the demand isn't there, well it's not going to be...
actually, the majority of people who want this don't have credits and are waiting for it to be covered to buy.
I have an entire spare engine in my parts closet waiting to be built, but I'm not...
there would still be a lot we could benefit from with something like HP though...I'm still hoping for support in time...
guys, that GM flash for the ecu is NOT for the 03-04 Ions, so it wouldn't do any good.
just posted on taht petition thread THX, good call with that.
Glad to see this up here. I know most of you guys so no need to introduce myself here. I would definitely be interested in this coverage for at least the 03-04 2.2 Ions. I've got an 04 Ion 2 QC...
any news on this? I know b3 put his procharger c-1 in and has been trying to get it somewhat dialed in, but this would help him a ton.
except that's not exactly how it works lol
Keith do you need a 03-04 Ion 2.2 ecu to work on? would this speed it up? I have a spare one in my workshop if need be
I'm almost tempted to sell off my 04 and possibly buy an...
you're killing me here Chris LOL :p
it's kinda understandable with the amount of work required to accomplish this
sooner the better though ;)
the only support I am aware of for the 05-06 is for the transmission computer
no I'm sorry, thats not why. the stock injectors are not all that large, I'm not suprised at all that they ran out of fuel at around 5psi on that turbine. and for the record the fuel system was...
going with the eaton used on the LSJ? what fueling are you doing since there's nothing right now? there's a guy on TSN who's using a SAFC2 for now for fuel on his stock turbo build but he ran out...
there's two wheel/tire calibrations. one for 195/60/15 and one for 205/50/16. the 205/50/16 calibration will raise the limiter to 120mph as opposed to 108mph for the previous.
with that said, I...
IMO, that's a band-aid on a bullet wound, if you're going to do it, do it right
Ironically I had been speaking to people about doing this, or going with a full LSJ swap on an Ion 1 Sedan. IMO...
well, I've bumped mine to 120 now, which is fine for track duty until I move on to road courses and such, and even then should be plenty. however, my speedo is a bit off now because of my tire size...
<<< Schizzo
haha hey Tony and Sp00n.
yeah I'm praying for this, need it bad as you both know
hell for the ability to turn of the rear o2, raise the limiter, and raise the speed limiter alone...
bumping this, glad to see others in the same boat as me.
I understand it's going to take time, just wondering if there's any sort of timeframe her, just a ballpark figure.
I hate to bump an old thread but are you still in need of VIN's? I have an 02 2.2 in my Ion and can get a few others I'm sure if need be. I'm definitely in need of this software covering the 2.2's...
