I don't think I'm explaining it well enough.

Injectors are verified. I've never heard/read you shouldnt need to scaled for 1300cc on a e38. Can someone explain more?
Just bumping this up if anyone has any other ideas. I'm starting to think its just the injector data. Car runs great, cruises great etc, it just bothers me the MAF had to be scaled so high having...
The injectors look like the ones on their site under "1300cc", they look different than the 85lb ones that were removed. I attached the injector data they sent me, in the even someone sees something...
I'll verify. I'm fairly certain they are the right ones.
Yeah the only thing I changed was the injector data. I don't have any issues with knock, yet, and it seems to cruise fine on the highway, although admittedly i havent done much highway "cruising" with...
I have a flex fuel sensor that I'm using. That's an interesting point about ethanol content. It confuses me why it shot up after scaling the injectors correctly, but to be honest the car is running...
Trust me, Its crossed my mind. I'm thinking maybe something in the injector data is a little off from the manufacturer.
Yeah that was confusing to me as well....why the airmass went higher.
Airmass was normal until scaling for the larger injectors, and then it shot up. From what I'm gathering the higher torque/airmass readings are not detrimental to transmission health or performance,...
Andrew,
Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure the fueling was super solid before hand, it could have been. There was some issues with the going lean/rich depending on the ethanol content, that was...
Thanks Kevin! They are FID 1300cc injectors. I'm assuming the Idle Advance Coastdown might have been the culprit? I'll give the tune a shot this afternoon.
Here is another log attached. You can really see the oscillating of RPM in this one.
Currently working my way through this tune. I've made some good headway with the MAF tuning. Today I decided to try getting the VE dialed in. When tuning the VE I get large swings in RPM @ idle and...
I also noticed that the Command EQ was around .83 @ WOT. I would like it to be a little richer. Is adjusting PE the correct way to do this?
They are 1300cc injectors. Its around 50% ethanol as well.
Currently learning on my LSA G8. Car runs great, still dialing in fueling, but after entering the manufacture supplied data for the injectors, I've noticed I had to add way more fuel via MAF and now...
I'm not sure where the initial post went. I did get the correct data in and I'm in the process of scaling the MAF. Really appreciate everyone's advice and help. I have a lot to learn, but I'm going...
Stock rails/regulator. The pulse width, flow vs pressure, and offset are all way off from the manufacture specs. Or do these settings not matter as much as i think they do?
I was able to get the injector data from the manufacturer. It is completely wrong in the tune, from what they sent me.
Does anyone think the difference in the e85 and 91 lambda could be fuel pressure? Are there any ways to tell without hooking up a manual fuel pressure gauge(injector duty cycle?)? Would wrong...
Thanks Gustavo, is this technique better than doubling stoich?
That is true, but those are the injector settings that were in there when i had my 85lb injectors. I did a compare between the two tune files.
He didnt change any injector data going from the 85lbs to the 1200 cc injectors...
Any ideas on what would cause leaner conditions with ethanol? Even cruising lambda is quite a bit leaner with %38 e than straight 91.
