So, I guess your not interested in my tune ?
BTW ... The stock LS3 injectors are rated a 42 Lb/Hr @ 58 PSI
I have FIC / Bosch 60# in my supercharged 2011 GS (LS3)
I have been unable to post a tune to the HP Tuners Forum in the past, but if you PM me your email address, I can send you my tune via...
colsen2715 ...
What size and brand injectors do you now have in your LS3 ?
How did you "reset valve lash" ?
Lifter preload is not adjustable on the LS engines (at least not when using stock rocker arms).
Lifter preload is set by varying the length of the pushrods.
I am no injector expert, but I think that with the stock ECM, you can only go so big on the injector flow rating without having idle problems.
In my case, I have a supercharged LS3 Corvette...
I have a 2011 Corvette LS3 with a Magnuson 'Heartbeat' SC. Since I am using 93 octane pump gas, I keep the boost to a max of 7.3 PSI.
Using the high octane spark table shown below, I get no knock...
I forgot to install the drivers that are shown right below the 'VCM Suite' software found on the HP Tuners website .. Called 'Download MPVI2 Drivers'.

Well ... My problem is fixed
A good friend of mine that is a computer programmer and uses HP Tuners on his own twin turbo 98 Z28 came to my aid. He found out that I did in fact install the HP...
I had HP Tuners working perfectly when it was loaded on my old Windows 10 laptop.
Now I got rid of the old laptop and tried using HP Tuners on my new laptop (also using Windows 10)

Alvin ... I am going to do that
Thanks
Well, increasing all the numbers that were not 32,767 by 1.3 times wasn't enough.
However, increasing the numbers 1.5 times fixed the problem.
The misfire detection system is still working...
Well, I multiplied all the various numbers that are found in Engine Diagnostics / Misfire area (that were not 32,767) by 1.3
Be advised that any numbers that are originally set to 32,767 cannot be...
smokeshow ...
Thanks for the info.
I am looking at the tune right now on table Engine Diagnostics / Misfire
1. Detection . (Misfire RPM Test)
2. Revolution Mode . (Normal)
3. Cylinder...
BTW ... With the cam I have installed, I will get maybe 30-40 total misfires during first cold start-up ... After a short period of time and the engine gets up to temp, I get no misfires.
For anyone that has installed a bigger cam in there LS (Gen 4) engine and running the E38 ECM:
I read the following and was wondering which table in the tune could be modified to 'desensitize' the...

Mr.z0611
Thanks for the response ... I was thinking that maybe I should increase the Final Idle Airflow numbers from 10.00 g/s to maybe 11.00 in order to get it better inlined with the actual...

I am surprised that you can even get 1700cc injectors to idle at 58 PSI fuel pressure in an LS engine while using the stock ECM.
I say that because in my supercharged LS3 (running on 93 octane...
Will do ... Good idea
Ok ... A guy over in the Corvette Forum posted a copy of the Base Idle Spark Timing for the LS9 ...
For the stock idle speed of 600-700 RPM, timing looks to be set at 18 degrees.
...
C6 Corvette ZR1 (LS9 Engine) idle timing
I don't have a copy of the supercharged LS9 stock tune file ... Can anyone here tell me what the base spark timing is set at for idle.
Thanks,
Ron
Circle-D 2,800 stall single clutch converter.
Why do I say 'single clutch'? ... Because the only reason you would need a triple clutch converter is if you plan on locking the converter at WOT. And...
I am a little confused on this one:
2011 Corvette, LS3, automatic trans, supercharged and mild cam running on 93 pump gas.
