It turns out the tables highlighted in Yellow do absolutely nothing! Its the ones highlighted in green that control everything. Now to log and tune them!

Since its an '07 cobalt your best bet is to get TIS2000 its the old offline GM software that flashes cars from '96-08. You're correct the ecu is compatible but the software on it isn't.

The operating systems are the same but the ecu's aren't compatible its telling you in the vin change window. For my '14 cruze the only ecu's that worked were from 14-15 vehicles .

Do a full write of your stock flash to the new ecu but disable vats.
Connect vcm scanner if its a manual you must do the clutch position relearn...

It looks like the High/Med barrow tables are actually High=(Base table for everything besides wot) Med=(VIM adder table for everything besides wot). As the low tables are both empty in my tune.

I'm not sure it works like that on the LUW/LWE, I'm seeing negative numbers in a few exhaust cam tables along with positive numbers.

Does anyone have any info? Can the cams only advance or retard? How do the numbers correlate to cam position?

If I remember correctly you do not want to interpolate the numbers. In my experience on stock engines adding 10% and leaving the negative areas alone is all you need to do.

I can't see any options for tuning the variable intake manifold but im probably missing something.

On the E37 (similiar to tuning an E38) there is also the "Coastdown Idle Table" for timing when you let of the gas. That is what I changed to get pops/bangs/burbles. I've been playing around fine...

Its funny because my other car im fixing up is a Cruze with the E78 ecm. On the E37 you can adjust the timing for CFCO, with -20 I get a little pop on shifting. I don't see that for the E78.

Leaving it at default setting of 8 degrees makes no difference, I wonder if the ecm doesnt support cfco.

It is and it does, I didn't think it as that simple. What should I set cfco spark to? default is 8 degrees in all cells.

I have a 2007 pontiac g5 with e37 ecm, I'm looking to make it pop/bang only when I shift.

I could swear it was but theres no mention of it under the Engine>General tab.

I was hoping to set up a sort of launch control, but if I change the neutral limit it will also be that limit when im shifting gears, right?

For example if I set the Park limit to 3000rpm would my limiter be at 3000 until the cars starts moving and sees vss activity?

I haven't taken it up to that speed. Between the alignment and the ruts in the highway I'll be staring up a tree lol. I might put it on jack stands to test.
