No, I wouldn't say it's too aggressive, but the low speed shifts were a little too harsh for my tastes. Just try it and see what you think. ;)

Max retard unchanged. As far as what's been changed on the engine side, I'm afraid I don't really know as Rapid Motorsports did all the engine tuning. Sorry I can't help on that score.
It's holding up just fine with 37,000+ total miles and countless 1/4 mile passes. I'm making just shy of 400 rwhp and 370 rwtq. The rear has 3.73 gears with hardened output shaft, but my tranny is...
George,
I agree completely. ;)
I was barking my tire really badly at my 1-2 Shift and chirping them at the 2-3 Shift by increasing my Max Line Pressure to 100% and setting my Shift Time to 0.00. I've since lowered those values to...
Sweet! Thanks for the help!
Thanks! Would that be the TCC Solenoid On/Off under the Trans tab that I'd use?
You can lock the converter for dyno pulls with GM's Tech2 and with LS1-Edit. Is there a way to do this with HP Tuners?
Thanks! 8)
Thanks, marc. ;)
I believe the Corvette's stock Max Line Pressure is 90 also.
Hi, fellas!
I'd like to know where you have your Desired Shift Times and Max Line Pressure values set at? They are found under Transmission - A4 Shift Properties tab for those...
Ok. Good luck and keep us posted! ;)
On the A4 Shift Properties page there is also a box for Max. Line Pressure which you can adjust. If I remember correctly, the stock setting is 90. I currently have mine set at 95%.
Sorry, I guess I just wasn't thinking when I read the title of your thread. I automatically assumed you'd already edited your base pressure settings.
Try this table for your base shift pressure...
Try this (copy and paste it in). This table is from a C5 with a 3800 stall converter. I'm using it also (I have a Yank 3000 with 3.73 gears) and it's working great for me. Note that the higher the...
P.S.- I have 3.73 gears. 8)
Here is my "problem child" table. As you can see, most if not all of the settings have a much lower value (which translates into a correspondingly higher pressure) and the weirdest thing is the last...
This is the Force Motor Current vs Pressure vs Temp table from a stock '98 C5 shown as an example. At Keith's suggestion (Thanks, amigo!) I just added this to my '00 C5's bin file and it corrected...
No problem whatsoever. As a matter of fact, I use my car's battery to run my laptop for all functions including flashes. Just make sure your battery is properly charged and you'll be fine. Remember...
All issues resolved and no more trouble codes!
I copied and pasted the stock Force Motor Current settings into my bin file and the problems disappeared.
I also made some (probably)...
Thanks! I checked my Force Motor Current settings and they were all buggered up.
I'm going to set them to a stock '98 C5's settings (couldn't find any for a 2000) and see what happens. :)
Hi, fellas! 8)
Most of you LS1/LS6 folks know me from the other boards. I'm on my second LS1-powered car, a 2000 'Vette. My first was a 1999 Camaro SS which I sold about two years after I...
In case anyone is interested here are my present settings and results.
WOT Shift Speed & RPM Settings:
1-2 Shift: 34 mph and 6100 rpm
2-3 Shift: 67 mph and 6250 rpm
3-4 Shift: 118 mph and...
Well, I just got back from my first reading, writing, and scanning session and I have to say that this HP Tuners software is great, the menus are well laid out, and the instructions for most things...
Yes. :'(
However, I have good news.
SUCCESS! I finally got the file. Thanks, Keith!
