It worked the way Weston said, I never needed mock gps. The external gps is a bt gps so I have no choice in that, I think.

I was missing STEP 5, I thought the data overlay was already set since when I viewed the session on the camera the overlay was already there. I did not know I had to "do it again" in RR.
