Overrun...
256 is what Dodge updated the newer trucks to. You can go higher, but there is the risk that if something fails you could end up with the low/reverse clutch applied when it shifts. It would normally...
On the DC to Current table, start with multiplying each value by 1.7. Adjust from there. eg. 1700 X 1.7 = 2890.
My guess it's picking up a misfire and applying the misfire timing. Change the misfire timing and see if the logged timing follows.

The high idle doesn't work in most 03's.
This is the 3-4 shift table that was used:
76858
The UDC Pro data log did the 3-4 shift at: 2282 TOS rpm
The HP Tuner data log did the 3-4 shift at: 2247 TOS rpm
The shifting is practically...
I attached two log files. One was a UDC Pro tune, and the other was a HPT tune. Same truck. Same day. The transmission tuning is the same in both tunes, though there are some slight differences in...
From looking at your log, more then likely that All Speed Gov. B is the main one that is doing your limiting. On my truck setting it less the 5500, will pull fuel away. I normally have it set to...
The Smarty Touch and Raceme Ultra, also unlock the ECM, while tuning.

I have the same problem with my 05 auto. I've spent a lot of hours trying to figure this out. Please share if you find the answer.

That's what mine does as well. You notice it never comes close to hitting 100% calculated load. You can see calculated load starts to fall off almost as soon as you go WOT. On my truck using a UDC...
Even with 0 fuel it still shows clipped for the timing.
Is the feel that the TPS fall off not related to the pilot timing? I'm not sure how they would be related, but the fall off does seem to start close to the time when the pilot correction first shows...
The pilot timing tables are what I am working on now. I was hoping that would fix where it is pulling TPS back, but it doesn't sound like it. I dislike putting values in tables to fix outcomes, but...
I'm having a similar issue with my 05, though it's an automatic. It also pulls TPS, and decreases fuel rate. I am getting a pilot timing error, that says clipped. I'm trying to track that down. It is...
Lot less options there than in an 05...
First off you've done a very nice job. It shows you understand the problem from a tuning stand point and not just a math one.
One problem I have with almost all timing calculators, is...
ECT is not the issue, it's IAT.
Actual timing is lower when IAT is cold. I have not seen it going higher.
It's a 2005. I'll post a log later.
I see the same thing happen. I have not found which table effects it yet. This time of year having the timing limited that much by IAT really shows up. If I make back to back runs, the first one will...
Did you apply the OS patch, and then flash the ECM?
I had noticed that, but a later version has it fixed.
Sorry, the new version of the beta in the last couple of days, has the text descriptions for the limiters. There were also some changes in some of the PIDs. It seems to have come almost exactly when...
Very nice update. Thanks!
