I just recently bought an 08 Cobalt SS turbocharged and included with the car was a second engine controller with a Trifecta tune. I've had HPT for a couple years, and after reading the LNF tutorial...

I'm at work right now so I can't look at the scans so I'll just interject what's coming to mind right now.

Are you running completely stock timing tables? Lots of timing can result in high NOx...

Have you checked to ensure no vacuum leaks?

Was a new torque converter installed with the new trans? If so, it's possible that it's tighter than the old one and you might want to go with something a bit looser.

You should always let the coolant get up to temp before going WOT. Unless the parameter has been changed by the tuner, the knock sensors are not active until 160*F.

I've noticed that my 99 Regal seems to reset TAPS when I leave the battery disconnected for an extended period of time, and a friend of mine has also noticed the same with his 99 Regal as well.

Has anyone else experimented with this? I decided to give it a try and liked the initial results, but now I've run into an issue.

Comparing the few files I've seen, it appears that the 04+ DE tables are the same as in the 03 and older cars.

Are there any tips on adjusting DE? I've tried a few things but with no real positive results.

The only parameters we get under Fuel Cutoff are rev limiters, and the tables to control the AFR while they are active and length of time they are active. :banghead:

Us V6 guys don't have access to all of the good DFCO parameters like in the V8 cars.

This is what we get, which is guess isn't "DFCO":...

Any pointers on tuning the DFCO? I've never quite understood the definitions given to the tables.
