This is the guy you're probably thinking of...he's cool man. Consistent low 11 second car, N/A...I love it.

Sharmz, can you do TCU tuning for the MCT tranny? Where are you based?
If not Sharmz, does anybody know where I can get a TCU tune performed on my unit? I want the SL63 tune applied to mine.
Thank you sir :)
In that case...I'll try it in manual mode then.
How brave are you with yours? My plan was to have it at 7200 or 7500 in auto with a view to 8000 in manual for 1st and 2nd when...
Hi guys,
I've attempted to increase the rev limit on my car...but it still shifts at 6700rpm consistently. I have only tried in auto mode, not manual. I figure if the option is there to increase...
ok now it makes sense - i got those parameters from the channel file that you kindly sent me.
I re-polled, turned it off/on, re-opened the application and then combed through every option...none...
Interesting...I'll try that. I spoke with Chad @ Support about this and he suggested to re-poll parameters after I'd updated the software version. I'll try your method and then report back.
I'm not sure if it's an issue pertaining to the E63 W212, but looking at the video posted on this website of a tuner using the software on a C63, you can see that they're presented with data that...
Which is why I think HP Tuners should be trying to work with us and help solve our issues seeing as we've paid for a product that doesn't really do it's job as we were sold and lead to believe.
Mark/HP Tuners....?
Surely if you guys can help me to get the tune in the right direction, more people would be enthused to try the HP Tuners software themselves. Ignoring my request for support...
Bump.
I have sent some files to support to request help under ticket #110121
Hi Mark, I've tried and tried any and everything I can think of, yet my timing is miles off what is being commanded. I've tried numerous suggestions that BackyardTurbo was kind enough to suggest to...
Many thanks sir - email sent.
Running out of ideas now.
My AFR is a little lean up top, but I don't think there is a failsafe for this (other than via having excessive EGTs), so I don't think...
This is so depressing...I just spent nearly 3 hours on the road...
Figures are generally based upon max load and from around 5000 - 6700rpm:
Base timing 23
Optimal and durability spark 28...
Hmm, I'm not having much luck here. As a tester, I've set a conservative 23 degrees for max load from 5000rpm to fuel cut, but still no joy. I'm seeing 18-19. I've amended tables like the one for...
Thanks guys - Corey sent me the Beta software to try and I can now see the new table. Fingers crossed :)
Thanks Mark, I'd love that - dry weather this weekend, which means i can get some more tuning done.
Last night I replied back to a ticket which was originally answered by Chad - (ticket #110121)...
So i've got V3.6 now, but can't see the max durable spark...however, i'm not sure if the tables on the right are what i need....were they they before? I can't remember now if it's the same (I'm...
Thank you my friend. I'll buy a cheap Windows laptop then and do this.
I'm currently using my office laptop (my personal one is a Macbook) but it only has allowed me to install the software from...
Interesting.
Would I be correct to assume that the Max Durable Spark table helped you to achieve your goal?
Last night my commanded was 29....ended up with 20-23, lol. My car is officially...
Hey man, I'm having the same issue as you. I just emailed tech support, without a copy of my tune for tips.
It's weird, because it's only at near enough max load that timing is being pegged back...
So finally I have my HP Tuners software and did my first solid data log last night....I'm so freaking excited and can't wait to start tuning this weekend!
Backyard, one thing I will ask is are you...
87-89% is full throttle btw. It doesn't go any higher than that.
As for 4800rpm I suppose that's another issue, but a valid one.
If it makes you feel better, my car has Eurocharged V6 tune and...
For the VVT tuning element, is it a case of being presented with four tables (one for each cam) in a load vs rpm arrangement for us to cherry pick our desired angles from the range of adjustment...
