Insulator? You mean ignition condenser?
Maybe it’s time to consider getting a borescope done on all cylinders to see how dirty it is inside the combustion chambers.
Dirty intake valves &...
Ok. Send an email to [email protected] and report it.
What’s the holdup here? The sooner you get a log up, the sooner I can get something whipped up which will be much better than stock.
Which PIDs disappear? Try building your own XML using the list in mine. You can open it separately in a text editor for reference.
KR on the stock tune points to electrical supply issues. Replace the ignition condenser ($25 from any dealer) and run a 30” 6 AWG cable from its grounding plate to the driver side chassis grounding...
I’ll bet you are triggering component protection when going WOT, which is megarich on the ‘13.
If the PIDs are visible, they’re available. Now that you have my logging XML enabled (you’re...
Log a couple of WOT 3rd gear pulls from 2800 to 6700 and post the logfile. Make sure you have the EGT PID enabled. Load up my PID logging XML I posted earlier in this thread.
Hold off on buying more plugs and see how these work first. Any other mechanical components to replace or are we good to start tuning?
M40XL or M45XL?
Not really sure why HPT is logging so much KR activity, as this is a fairly mild stage 1 tune.
I didn’t see your latest stock tune log to compare KR activity.
HKS M45XL plugs are just ok. NGK...
Any updates?
No. Different ECM.
Any updates?
Yes, you really do need heat range 9 plugs as the tune won’t be factory after we’re done with it. Isn’t that the whole reason you bought the MPVI2 in the first place?
You need a high quality...
The DTCs are rear O2 catalyst-related (downpipe); you'll have to decide if you want to turn off the rear O2 sensor or disable those DTCs. I won't do that for you since it is illegal.
The KR...
Outstanding.
The front O2 sensor was needed just to address the weird measured lambda fluctuations and has zero effect on "surging" behavior. I had zero problems with the NTK front O2 sensor on a fairly...
Without knowing what type of host OS it is, nor which virtual hosting software you're using, most modern VM engines sufficiently handle USB connections, but I guess it could be a USB driver issue.
...
Seems like more of a driver or connectivity issue to me. Have you installed the latest MPVI2 driver?
Heard anything back from support?
Yep, something is janky for sure. Might need an updated MPVI2 driver.

Did this one feel any different or essentially the same?
I found and fixed an error in the low octane spark offset map. 3 cells were 3.00 degrees and they should've been -3.00 degrees. Post #45 has the updated bin.
No problem.
Just a few more lambda stabilization, safety and oversight tweaks, small consistency additions from the recall tune, base ignition map smoothed up for more accurate interpolation...
