attached is the latest tune.111131
I've had no luck. Does anyone know if it's even possible or anyway I can modify the air fuel ratio on this?
I am trying to calibrate the MAF for the 3.6 using hptuners but I cannot find any parameters that allow me to disable the fuel trims. attached is the tune file I am working with. Any help is...
Hello,
This is my first time tuning a 3.6 engine only familiar with the ls motors. The vehicle is a 2005 cadillac cts and I am trying to modify the base lambda values before adjusting any of the...
well if you have the same exact problem the post will be three pages long and leave open ended. welcome to the tuners life.
just an update. I did have a bad 02 sensor. After replacing the idle is better and driveability is good. Problem is it still has a stumble at idle. Its logging a bunch of misfires im sure due to the...
This year model vette has a seperate IAT sensor and I confirmed it was working for the tuning.
Ok, so a little more investigating showed that the rough idle is only in closed loop. So I pulled up my 02 sensor voltages and B1S1 seems very slow to me. How can I confirm it needs replacement? Ive...
I actually unplugged the maf when speed density tuning just to be sure. The check engine light was on when tuning also. It was set to "light on first error"
And I always did multiply by half.
Hello All,
Recently followed the steps to set up the VE and MAF tables seperately using the AFR error in VCM. Everything went great and car drove great for both VE and MAF tuning. Problem is when I...
everything works when making appropriate changes to the secondary VE tables. thanks again!
Thank you 5F for leading me down the right path. Will post back findings as soon as I can confirm.
Ok, think I found the problem. When I copied the cells over from vcm scanner I modified the wrong cells. It was set up for the primary table and the values didnt transfer correctly. I will confirm...
to clarify I took 10% away from the whole table.
So I took 10% away from the primary and secondary VE tables and it dropped when scanning. It seems like the cells are matching up with what its logging.103623
no check engine lights, smoke tested and no vacuum leaks, not really sure
thats my dilemma  what would you recommend doing next?
still having the same issue...
yes, stock injectors and stock fuel pump. I was afraid to disable COT because I have cats so I added a channel to watch if it was on or off. Didnt want to potentially ruin them.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction. I even just unplugged the MAF with the same results as I just attached. I can add the files for these as well if that helps.
Still having issues, I uploaded the revised tune and scanned but everytime I modify both VE tables it doesnt seem to change the AFR error (very rich). Attached are the revised tunes and...
attached is the revised tune that I will attempt first thing. I was definitely not aware that the computer uses the secondary VE tables. 103598
Thank you for the quick and thorough response. I will try these first thing tomorrow and report back the findings.
that would explain my problem. Hopefully that's all it is. I set the fail frequency to 1 Hz but maybe that didnt do it. Attached is one of the tune files.103597
Hello All, first post here. Ive recently installed a mild cam, 243 heads, and longtubes on my base 99 C5. After doing so I went to first adjust the VE tables using an AEM wideband. It seems to work...
