Never turned the distributor. Just replaced the cam sensor, cap and rotor. It was the crank sensor that was bad. Once replaced, it fired right up.

Also, any idea why the '98 PCM shows VATS and my '08 shows SKIM? I was able to disable VATS on the '98 PCM, and write/rewrite to verify. But is that just a false disable?
OK, jeep is getting a P0320 error (Cam sensor). I'm assuming that nothing is going to work until that is satisfied. My gut feeling is either the cap/rotor took a hit and/or the sensor is damaged....
