Is it possible to set up histogram of load vs RPM histograming STFT + LTFT but at specific MP points?
I'd like to set up one histogram for MP0 another for MP1 ect..
Thx

It sounds like my plan has holes then. I have my datalog set up showing mapped point weight% 0 through OP in the channels. I see it does indicate % as I log showing real time what MP is being used at...

I assume you're doing STFT + LTFT vs RPM so you can transfer/copy past into Speed Density Calculator? If so, how did you set up your X and Y axis?
Hey Matt,
I appreciate the effort in digging for the file. I get you on the many junk files thing due to the iterative process of testing the different setting effects to understand/learn the...
Gee White5.0, ya know, if I didn't know better, Id' think I was listing to my old 85 Capri RS 5.0
Nice job emulating the sound!
What combo of setting did you use to do that? That a 5.0 not a...
So how do you guys set up fuel trim data logs to match X and Y axis of the Speed Density Calculator? What PID's are you using? MAP is inferred in my car so I assume I should be plotting MAF vs RPM?...
Hey Matt,
Thanks for sharing your perspective on settings you used in the past to create a lopey idle. When you think about the root cause of idle lope is all comes down to combustion...
BlackBolt, your spot on with sounding bada$$ for a day:cool: Just something about that rumpty rumpty idle that makes me LOL like a school girl. That unrefined sound is like an old leather jacket......
OK, so, in the editor top menu the speed I found the Speed Density Calculator. I assume by making edits here it alters the respective Quadratic, slope and offset terms to drive VE so the ECU properly...
Thanks for the suggestion Matt, I'll try playing with timing those MP's. I see, lowering timing will make it more lazy and perhaps less corrective and so reducing surge. I agree on the usefulness of...
Hey white 50, I tried out your suggestion but can get lope to occur until I move EVC for MP 0 to >18-20*, 10* just doesn't cut it. If I have MP 0 to -42* and EVC for MP 0 to 22* I get a nice lope but...
My understanding is the numbers in this table are multipliers to Stoich input shown below.
I.E."Target AFR (14.08 is the stock setting) and multiply by Lambda. At 5,500 RPM, this returns a value...
Does this table really have any effect? The ECT suggests 240F so it seem to me this never gets enabled? If I'm right, How do you adjust WOT fuel trim.
Thanks guys for sharing your perspectives, opinions and experiences. Much appreciated😁
Would the Coyote cookbook also be applicable to Cyclone? From the files for Coyote I've looked at, I see most of the same tables and setting. Anyone have experience tuning both motors that has used...

Nevermind... I figured it out when I remember what I used to do back in high school day when we ran bigger cams. Bumped up Idle and pushed overlap in MP1,2,3. I have more chop/lope and less surge now...
What would you recommend to get more lope and less surge?
Thanks...
that did help..
I see my mistake on VSS disable.
Changing spark torque ratio "DFCO - .1" gives torque control more control?
Thanks
2014 V6 stang
while playing with overlap for Ghost tune i notice odd angle progression Vs RPM.
see chart

Why the zero on 10 and 13?
Did ford make a mistake?
2014 V6 stang and understanding more.
Reduced timing in tip-out spark decel to increase decel popping effect but seemed to have ne effect.
DFCO rpm enable is 4k, disable @900, VSS enable @50mph,...
Thanks BoostedYote for the input. When you write entire, does it still have to recycle emissions readiness DTC
Hey all, I?m new to tuning and humbly admit I?m on the steep side of the learning curve here. Being a DYI?er, I didn?t want to buy something pre-canned although I?ve heard good things about MPT. My...
