While I've not seen an F-150 specific tune, if you're looking for 132mm TB data, this post has a tune in it...
Perfect. Thank you. Dealing with a lot of rain right now so no opportunity to check this out, but will do so when it lets up. Thanks again!
Are you saying I should physically set the fuel pressure to ~45 PSI? Is that with or w/o the boost reference hooked up? Or is there somewhere in the tune I should set this value?
I see why...
Car cranked, idled, then died. Cranked but wouldn't idle. Did this a couple of times. Log & Tune attached. Since I'm a n00b, does my log show something that I'm not seeing? Or am I missing something...
Saving the individual graph. When I repopen it, the values are gone.
Tried a different browser. Files attached.
Apologies. This should exist in VCM Scanner, not Editor.
Upgraded to 3.6.26, problem still exists.
Starting to tune my '15 GT.
Was wondering if anyone had a set of "go to" or "must have" graphs that they always use when tuning a boosted '15+ GT.
Thanks!
Under row axis, I choose the parameter (Mass Airflow Period), choose the unit (ms) and paste my values. I save the graph. When I open the graph back up, values aren't there.
Thanks for this!
Tried attaching log/file and got an error. Screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/prm27pjelymiktf/Screenshot%202017-07-21%2012.53.23.png?dl=0 While it got cut off, the pertinent part still exists "IO...

Car started on its first attempt. Idled.
Car is a '15 Auto A6 with 2.9L Whipple, 132MM TB and ID1300's on E85 with dual 450's (one always on, 2nd on Hobbs switch).
I've done...
You changed the lower clip value from the default 1500 or? What did you change it to? Looking at my last datalog, I experienced this same thing. Toque Source ID 4, throttle went from 100 -> 43.5.
This is not the 132mm TB. It's a stock TB.
Here are the values for the 132mm TB (from a previous thread). http://i.imgur.com/SQMlleY.jpg
maybe they did.
I get this message when trying to open a CSV log file from an nGauge.
Eric do you know if this is also true for the nGauge `knockr`? negative value == adding timing, positive value == removing timing?
I have the big 132mm TB. I had assumed since it uses the same motor and gear that it'd be similar.
Have you by chance read/seen the methodology outlined by The Tuning School for Ford TB's? I'm...
Willing to share for others?
This is discouraging. I have a 15 with a Whipple and wanted to play around with it.
Sent you a PM. I don't disagree with anything you said regarding the Ford community, tuning and information sharing.
LaSota's book is fantastic, but The Tuning School specifically talks about how to tune a FRPP 90mm TB. Pg 53 - 65. And in their "classroom" training, the actually did this (tuned a '13 with FRPP 90mm...
I have no affiliation with them. I did take their class last year (their first). Their TB stuff would help you with your troubles http://www.thetuningschool.com/product/4121/
