I am referring to the LT1/L86/L83.
LT4 keep it stock data with stock camshaft and adjust it when you install a camshaft depending on the specs.
You need to adjust the virtual torque in the idle rpm region.
Ofcourse by lowering it.

Do you have good piston to valve clearance with btr 227/242 cam in the 5.3?
Just put 1 in the adder in gears you want to modify.
Put the percentage you want to decrease in the adder modifier table and you are good to go.

Maybe the tuner is commanding excessive fuel which causes the fuel pump to fall pressure or he messed with something.

Try copying the higher value of the 3 driver demand tables and pasting it on the rest which will make it snappier in all modes.

Depends on the cam phaser limiter if it is a 0 degree lockout then playing with vvt will not help.
