I found the answer in the help files. It will do it. Helps when you read the instructions. Lol!
I have a 2008 HHR with a L61 2.2 that I need to replace the crank sensor. Will the scanner do the CASE relearn?
TIA
When adding the electric fans is it necessary to upgrade the alternator? Or can the original 105A work?
Thanks for sharing your experience. I looked at them last night, and the only difference I could see was some flex fuel tabs.
Just curious. About to start tuning on my wife's 2008 Escalade 6.2. Will these changes work on a 6.2? trying to get some more fuel mileage, and drivability out of it.
Denton, TX.
Name's Dwain. Been on here for a while, but haven't posted in a long time. Finally pulled the trigger on the MPVI2, and used it to disable DOD on a 2012 Silverado. Worked like a charm. Looking...
I'm keeping the VVT. My thinking was to keep it simple, and not have to worry about changing sensors, ect. Doing this for a friend that has had the lifters replaced once, and it's starting to tick...
I'm working on a 2012 Silverado 5.3 LMG, and doing a complete AFM delete using L96 6.0 cam and valley cover. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on the MPVI2, but have a question. When disabling AFM...
Yes!! I'm doing the same on a 2012 Silverado, and had the same question. Thank you.
Dang. So, it will only do PCM/TCM?
In VCM Suite, will the scanner read ABS, suspension, and body codes? I'd like to have something like a Tech 2, but don't want to fork over the bucks for one, and would like to be able to tune. TIA.
Absolutely. In both power and fuel economy.
Online or DVD course would be cool. I've tuned plenty of old school rods. I want to learn how to do it the 21st century way. I too don't plan on doing this as a business, but would like to learn all...
Haven't read the guide, but I would think so you could see what happens off idle. Make sure you're getting propper fueling during the transition. Just guessing.
That's the way it is here where I work. I've been in this business for 22 years, and it does have to be pretty blatant to be voided. It also depends on attitude. You come in being a complete a-hole...

Some NAPA and O'reilly Auto Parts store can reflash PCMs. Not sure what they charge, though.
Don't know if this is the right section, but here goes. It doesn't look like this is a supported vehicle. 1998 is, and I thought 96-98 were the same OS.
Anyway, can you at least use the...
Just curious if HPT suppots any such application? Or say can you adapt an LS1 operating system to an old muscle car? I know there are other systems out there, but most of them are limited to SBC,...
A stock, narrow band, O2 will read accurately from 14.5-14.9:1 afr. A wideband will read 10:1-18:1. Not sure if those are accurate numbers, but it's something like that. It gives you a much more...
Can the TOW/HAUL mode switch be used for this option on late model trucks?
Good job. I haven't been here long, but I've learned a bit from your posts and stickies.
56K beware. :bigshock: J/k. :D
That's real purdy.
