Nobody has any input on this? Id really like to see if my maf appears wildly lean or rich down low.
Is there any way to log VE correction? Also, are there VE correction cells similar to FTC's?
When I tuned my VE table, I set the VE correction uppper and lower limits to 1.001 and .999...
Gotcha. I had been logging "Mass Air Flow (SAE)" which apparently still logs numbers even when MAF failis set to 0. After recently reinstalling HPT, I am now using just plain old "Mass Air Flow".

Yes, you're correct. I just realized that. Is it possible to edit the custom pid to keep it from averaging? What is the preferred method?
I just noticed that when Im running in SD My cylinder airmass is about half what it should be. I idle in the .08 g/cyl row, and WOT tops out on .44 or .48.
Going over my logs with the MAF, I can...
Personally, I think youll have a hard time in WINE. I dont know how well it supports the .net framework.
Have you thought about virtualization? You could run VMware on linux and install winXP...
Yeah, looks that way... More bugfixes?
Yes, actually. You can set PE TPS enable to 0 for the first few cells till about 1600 or 2000 RPM. then set the PE multiplier to 1.000 to keep it from enriching. Now as a safety measure, make sure...
Super-duper interested in this... although personally, i feel the answer may be the transient fueling section more than ths dynamic airflow section. Ive been through dyn air, without finding and...
Revitalizing a good question.
I'm seeing a lean condition on transients which is certainly agrivating my cam bucking. It happens on both transients from coast to part throttle, as well as part throttle to coast. Ive already...
If you have a setting under the general tab for "Tach output" high and low should both be set to 6 for the 99+ clusters, IIRC.
Ive had best results by running openloop-MAF and richening up the off idle area - 1800 RPM up to 45 MAP. I run down to a 14.0:1 AFR, and run up to 42* timing right at 1600 RPM where the worst of my...
I was under the impression that the VE correction was added to dynamic airflow calculations to get steady state dyn air numbers to match up with the MAF, since the MAF is quite accurate at steady...
Here's a bin file for a torquer and some home ported heads at 10.85:1 compression. Its an open loop-MAF tune. The MAF is scaled +45% since its ported. You can probably use some of it as a starting...

I really dont buy that at lower airflow and idle the AFR is mostly dictated by SD / VE. Skewing the MAF Makes a HUGE change in my idle AFR. I would say that Its purely based on steady map (maf) /...
I have heads and cam, with SVO 30's and im already back up to 105% duty cycle at 6K+ at 13.0:1 A:F Moral of the story is: Go bigger.
I finally just went open loop since I too killed a ton of o2 sensors. You need a wideband, and you should scan fairly often if you consider going open loop yourself.
Is there a table that controls how much the IAT affects the airflow calculations? I notice that in the cool weather my trims are fine, but in the heat, I go a little lean. I see the Charge Temp...
Its an 85mm housing and its completely gutted. What exactly is the restriction?
oztrack, how did these tables work out for you?
Been loving mine since tuesday!
Im jealous. Still waiting for my preorder to arrive.
