OK, I will try both..... thanks guys.....
OK guys, new question
Two logs show commanded AFR and actual AFR as recorded by the WB. My question involves watching the actual AFR lag commanded AFR when going WOT and again when backing off.......
Could just be a Max Delta Airflow calibration issue....
Maximum Delta Air Flow - P0101 Error: The VCM will constantly check the MAF operation by comparing the MAF calculated airflow against the...
Neither.....:)
If the log is showing +4 in a certain cell, then it is adding 4% fuel to the VE value in that cell. So you multiply that VE value by 1.04. Of course most times I only add/subtract...
My IAT sensor has been relocated to 6" before the TB and about 8" downline from the Meth nozzle. Both are between the output of the Vortech and the TB. Attached pic shows the setup. I did this...
Gotta love the dyno sheet of a centrifugal....:yay:
Sorta leaves the impression that you need to spin that puppy harder
My 6000# leadsled has had zero TM since September 2005. My 4L60E has 60,000 miles on it and is stock save the vette servo and HD2 shift kit with 2 washers. After 19 months of FI, and current 525 RWHP...
Alrighty then... I will play with that some this weekend when I install the new aftercooler. After 19 months of running without a intercooler, I am finally going to do something about my mid load...
OK 2 BAR Guru's.. I sorta have the 2 BAR under control and AFR is solid at 11.2 at WOT and 25* timing...........
My next task is to tackle trim transitions from cold start through heat soak....
...
Have you checked the Base Running Airflow tables while cold? My 30-40 kPA cell is 8%rich also and idle was doggy doo until I retweaked airflow. I also had to back away from Overspeed/Underspeed Idle...
It's always the small items, isn't it.....:)
Works like a champ by toggling off the MAP Reference....
Thanks...
OK, I have narrowed my issue down to the custom pid I created and added to the table view. Everytime I add the [SENS.30.IMP]-14.5 PID to the table, my histogram takes a crap. I assumed this might be...
Hey Sierra, I just deleted my VCM_Scanner.cfg and rejacked into the truck... works fine now....
Good Luck
Yeah, I deleted the stock MAP in the table and enabled the 2 BAR MAP. My boost table 8 in the histogram is reading boost correctly, but none of the MAP referenced tables in the histogram are reading...
Can anyone tell me why histogram tables 3-8 are not reading out in 2 BAR kPA?
Thanks
OK... now don't I just feel foolish... thanks Bill...works like a champ with the metric toggle....
Nope..... same result.......... let me try the metric thingy.....
Like this at frame 1186........
OK so why I am I seeing nothing on the table view above 105 kPA...?
Guys
Tweaking my new 2 BAR OS on the truck. My question involves the PID to use for the table view to get a correct kPA reading in boost.. I have placed the stock MAP sensor in tandem with the 2...
Funny you mention that. I am currently running my 2 BAR MAP in tandem with the stock 1 BAR just as an analog input into HPT.... the 195 kPA readings keep driving me nuts to get to the 2 BAR SD OS......
I realize the hit on HP Tuner credits, but this is my daily driver and I want to keep a spare pcm with my current tune as backup just in case I have a need to pop it in to get the truck on the road....
Getting prepped for the 2 BAR OS this weekend for my truck. I want to buy a spare PCM to keep my current OS and tune on in case of failure of any type with the new OS...
Question is... What is...
Just purchased the book off of CarTech.com. Figured since I am stepping into a 2 BAR tune I might as well have a better idea what I was doing under boost....
Slight differences but close... I have actually been designing a wire harness for one of our Avalanche Truck Club member's to use on his e-fans. Pin 42 is the trigger for both fans on low (in series)...
