When i did the swap, I couldnt find an 80e OS that would work well with the tbss ecm. I tried a handfull of different tcm tunes and all had issues.
60e tune and adapter harness had me up and...
it does not look like my exported log file worked out to well. Anyone got any tips on uploading a larger log file? its 8mb
2008 tbss
cammed ls2
awd 4l80e with 4l60e tune and conversion harness
3200 stall
Truck was 80e swapped for about a year before the cam swap. never had any issues that I noticed, but maybe I...
On an e67 ecm are there any other outputs besides the cooling fan 1 and 2 I can configure to run a cooling fan?
Trans cooler fan thermostatic switch has died fpr the 3rd time. Looking to see if...
thanks, i will try that and see what hapens
looking at my table im in the roughly 5g/s at lower RPM range i will bum it up and see if that helps.
Where should I try and add air? I messed with the base running aiflow table and didnt see a change?
Cleaning up a previously tuned, unknown cammed 5.3 that would barely start and run. It still needs a lot of work, but i need to get the drivability up before i can really tackle the rest of the...
Ac is wired for analog cycling. Meaning it needs 12 volts from the hvac controls to switch on. The silverado is serial cycling which is controlled via the bcm.
I will try the engine segment swap...
so just for sake of sanity, i uploaded the stock silverado tune from post #8 (switched to DBC and no vats) and the truck runs, drives, shift 1-2 and 2-3 in low range (didnt go fast enough to see...
tried it with both 3.2.26 and the latest download 3.2.49
Segment swap did not work on either of them. I selected both trans and trans diagnostic segments and use the swapper utility both times....
i will give it a try again with the latest version of 3.2 tonight and see what happens.
anyone got any input on this?
Also tries swapping the van system segment to the silverado tune to get AC working and that didnt work on 2.25 either.
Which segment am i swapping? I tried swapping the trans and system segments from the silverado tune to the van tune (at different times) with 2.25 beta when it first came out and neither worked.
this is my last minor bug on my2003 5.3 swapped ZR2 s10.
2003 s10 zr2 using a 6106 pcm (blue/green) thats drive by cable. donor motor, harness and PCM were from a 2003 4x4 silverado and drive by...
wire the VSS circuit to a WSS and then adjust the tune accordingly to get the speed value to output correctly. then log it like stock
im assuming you used an express van for the base tune in your conversion? also what vehicle did you use for the AC segment?
I am looking into something just like this for my 5.3 swapped s10 to try...
timing goes from say 20* advanced when driving to almost 0* advanced when in DFCO. Ignition advance is referenced from TDC or top dead center.
Aeroforce never would tell me their formula for calculating instant econ, but it cant be using injector pulsewidth because of how it reacts.
thats really not the best way to do it. MBT could be a lot lower timing value than where the engine knocks.
the aeroforce gauge freaks out a bit when DFCO comes in. at least in my experiences. On an aeroforce gauge instant MPG goes DOWN when dfco kicks in. I can do the same thing with a scan gaugeII and it...
adjust the cooling fan AC pressures in the tune when logging with the wide band.
anyone have any input on this?
working on a 2003 s10 with a 2003 5.3 swap. p59 ecu and express van calibration.
what im trying to do is zero out fan 1 temps so its "always on" but i still want my mph cutoff. this way my fans...
