Pretty much! LLY Duramax uses a variable geometry turbo - no wastegate (computer controlled vanes - basically like being able to constantly change the A/R). No vacuum on Diesels so no blowoff...

You're not alone man - I feel the same way, but don't really want to stir any trouble so I'm trying to keep my mouth shut. But, I do sort of think it does suck that existing customers are sorta...
