This is correct, new PCM = more credits unless you have the unlimited path even with the same VIN. Which kind of bites if it's your own rig but is understandable from the standpoint that guys doing...

The 8.25 should be correct. I would go from the "Reference Ground" not a chassis ground just in case. Here is a close up of the OEM resistance diagram.

Yes, VVT and TUTD are compatible. Corvette tune in the trans is the key without a body module. Use the resistance shown for the Corvette to get the controls.
