Okay.. I talked to my customer and this is what he said.. When his tuner attempted the segment swap the engine would no longer rev if you spiked the throttle. It would go into reduced power mode....

Plugged filter, bad torque converter (most likely), or damaged pump from improper trans installation (torque converter not seated). I'd go in this order for most likely culprit;
