I downloaded this off a 99 Grand Am. Hp Tuners says: Definition failed to load. You will be unable to edit this file.
I think the ECU/PCM might be bad in my '99 Grand Am SE V6. Is there any way to know for sure? The IAT sporadically moves from 120 degrees F to -38. And the TPS at WOT slowly drops to around 75%...
I called Ron at ECM yesterday, to find out the price and benefits of the Lambda Pro. He said the Lambda Pro runs $3,500. If you're on a budget, he highly recommends the NGK AFX with the NTK sensor....
Thx RWTD! I was having trouble finding the answers in the help file.
I have a '99 LS1, with the stock OS. Do I have to upgrade to 1 or 2 bar when I add my supercharger? I will be running 8 psi for now, but it will probably increase when I get forged internals.
...
is ur tune in the repository?
Over the past few days I got my LTFT's in that coveted -/+ 4% range. Car runs great but as soon as I turn on the a/c everything goes to hell. Idle surges 500-1500 Rpm's. once i start driving its...
Does the PCM know what gear is selected on manuel transmissions? (i.e. 1999 corvette M6)
I have a 1999 Corvette and I want to do a full re-write with a 2001 Corvette tune. Will this work?
BTW, would a complete re-write erase unseen things like the 2mph fuel shutoff?
i love you long time!! J/K:drivin:
First a little history:
Anyone who owns a 1997-2004 corvette knows about the column lock fiasco associated with these cars. Well now after 3-4 recalls GM has decided that all USA corvettes with...
i've been scanning through posts and i'm getting conflicting information about timing for cammed cars. I think the general idea is this:
if the specs of a cam are (for example) 114 LSA 224/228...
what does the accessory tq table effect? i decreased it by 25% w/ aluminum flywheel install. i felt a considerable increase in power over the stock value.
thx, i'll get a wideband and start from scratch
i've been thinking that would be the right thing to do. but for FMI, if i had a wideband right now, what is the proper configuration to have the car in to tune the VE.
none except for the first time when i had forgot to disable the MAF DTC's.
BTW, the car is a 99 corvette M6 with this cam:
lift 581/588, dur. 224/228, 114LSA
How do I tune the VE table with stock o2's. I've logged 8 times and applied the settings 8 times but the LTFT's don't change (avg. +18%). i have some serious VE going on now (over 130% in most...
Ken, I can appreciate your position on the BCM. Undoubtedly, it's not a necessary function for some vehicles. But on others the BCM controls many things. So, may I suggest that you offer BCM write...
Thx for the responses :usa:
i would like an answer to this too
how do i make my car idle at 1100 rpm's when the car is coasting with the clutch disengaged. it used to idle at that speed when it was stock during a coast, and then drop around 750 at a full stop.
Duration @ .050 intake: 224 exhaust: 228
lobe lift intake .3420 exhaust.3460
btw i had these two reversed: intake .581/exhaust.588
I also have longtube w/high flow cats,...
I failed emissions for having high hydrocarbons at idle but it was within limits at the 2500rpm test. I have a moderately aggressive cam, is that what is causing this? btw what are hydrocarbons...
