2016 4runner - The software in your control module is outdated and cannot be used

So I tried to read my 2016 4Runner and got this. This vehicle already has a tune in it that came from Vivid Racing and was applied using a DIMsport box. Was this tune somehow locked in order not to be able to read it?

So I tried to read my 2016 4Runner and got this. This vehicle already has a tune in it that came from Vivid Racing and was applied using a DIMsport box. Was this tune somehow locked in order not to be able to read it?

There's no lock, these PCMs can only be virtually "read", that includes the factory calibrations, too. You'll still be able to take the file HPT provides you when you do a read and modify it like normal.
