I've ran through the HP forums countless times in efforts to resolve problems that I've ran across in the process learning to properly tune over GM cars the years. This is the first time I've actually replied or posted in a thread but I've gotta give credit where credit is due.

I've subscribed and/or bought into multiple "tuning schools" over the years, in effort to find one that not only sets you up with a solid process, but also explains in detail the changes you are making to the calibration and why, as well as the common tunes you see others do that are not at all necessary.

Elite Tuned School checks all the boxes. I purchased their GEN 5 Bundle last week as I was running into minor but annoying issues with start-up and drivability on a Heads/Cam C7z we finished up a week or two prior. Not only was I able to simply resolve the issues I was having, I found multiple other tables in the file that were poorly set-up from either me or whomever tuned the vehicle prior, and could have easily caused issues for the customer down the road.

10/10 Highly Recommended for anyone that's just getting into messing with the GEN 5 platform, or people who have a decent understanding and knowledge and are just looking for clarification with certain aspects to save time with difficult vehicles.

Lastly, the customer service is absolutely top tier! Since completing the course both Mike Carnahan and Branden Leeb have reached out to me in efforts to clarify any part of the course that I may have wanted a more in depth explanation on.

No. But they cover a lot of those tables in the 8-speed tutorials.

We are aware of the newest tables. Unfortunately the definitions and setup of the these new BETA tables can be a bit cumbersome and cause way more problems than solutions for most tuners. We will update are content as we always constantly do to include these newest tables soon as we have viable and proven combo improvements we can 100% say help or work. As of now we have many 10 spds in the 8's (including Jason L World Record ZL1 with an 8.2 and several others right behind it) without issue that shift perfect and race regularly.

To expand on this, there are several tables in the new beta on the 10 speed that have caused issues that we are working through, once we have a proven solution we will update our courses accordingly. We do not release anything based on theory, only proven repeatable results.

That's good news! I thought I noticed some really current dates (from your screen displays) in the background. It would be nice to understand what some of these newer definitions did, because A8s don't have them.

I enjoyed the A8/A10 course. I have to run through it again to soak up more knowledge. KUDOS.

I've purchased a few courses and classes over the years and yours was probably the most in depth to be honest. It seemed that you guys touched on all the necessary topics and parameters with the biggest thing being why these changes are made and how they correlate. Having the logs and the specific scenarios when things didn't always go as planned stood out to me. I've experienced a few things that you guys outlined and it was nice to see the in depth explanation such as the trans shifting etc etc. I had a couple of "second guessing myself" moments with the newer Virtual Torque crap which is why I ultimately purchased this. We have started doing a lot of port injection stuff lately and I just wanted a piece of mind so to speak that I'm at least going in the right direction! Job well done IMO.

I had Mike tune a problematic C7Z that I was struggling with for a long time. I was throwing parts at it trying to chase problems that Mike was able to sort out very quickly with a tune. These guys legit know their stuff and I'm confident these courses are likely packed with information it would take the average guy years to learn by trial and error.
