    Post EEC-V support

just wondering if the ford EEC-V ECM was available. I know that when the 5.0.4 update came out that it lost support. but was told it could be out soon.

    MPVI2/MPVI2+ EEC support is available.

If you are referring to MPVI3 device we hope to have it fixed shortly.

Its not a software specific thing, its a hardware specific thing.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Hey Bill, does this mean that the MPVI3 hardware won't work with EEC-V? Just seeking some clarification.

Correct, MPVI3 hardware currently won't work with EEC-V, flashing has been disabled on those ecm's.

I could have sworn I saw an ad or a post that said EEC-V support with MPVI3. When the hardware solution is released, will it attach via the ProLink interface or will there be a new interface? I'm a little disappointed as I've been waiting and waiting for the new one since my MPVI2 won't flash non-CANBUS vehicles anymore.

MPVI3 comes free with the pro feature set, you just need to purchase the pro link+ CABLE in order to use the pro link+ CABLE.

well, considering a day ago it was stated that they disabled it. This is going to be low on the totem pole, likely gonna be months to years.

Have an RTD3; need to start getting the file pulled and off to my tuner, doesn't seem to want to connect. With the issues on the MPVI3; does that mean the RTD3 has them too and I need to get an MPVI2+ to pull files etc and to also Data log?

You will need an Sct handheld to datalog. The vcm scanner will freeze shortly after connecting

Any updates on the MPVI3 hardware issues? Frustrating man, I've invested in HP tune so I wouldn't have to purchase flash tunes. I'm bored with my truck and want to play with my Mustang. Good news is welcome. Put some happiness into our lives! Thanks

I was also wondering if there are any updates to this, looking at an older mustang and it would be nice to be able to tune it myself instead of having to try and buy an older mpvi2.
