    2008 ngc4 Pcm swap

Hey everyone i went from a ngc3 pcm to a ngc4 in my 1973 Dodge Challenger with a 6.1 545rfe combo . I got everything in order except it has a cold start syndrome all the time. I understand its ok when cold it goes to about 1400 ish rpm and gradually comes down to idle within a 2 min or so . But its annoying that it does it all the time , even when its warm . I thought they had a slight idle and came down to idle right away when warm . Is there anyway to fix this ?

Thanks guys ! You all have been super helpful ...

Firstly I would use the beta scanner to reset your tb. If that doesnt remedy the issue.. You could lower your commanded rpm a bit in idle tables

Ok i messed with it yesterday and was in the Idle speed runtime adder p/n section and messed with that .. It lowered it on initial start up to about 1200 and gradually came town to its desired idle of 672 however i’d like to see it when warm get to its idle faster and not hang that idle like that . When it’s cold or first start i don’t mind just when it’s warm . i only messed with that one table and it seemed to change it up so now if i can just make it start up , idle up and down right away that would be great . Also i do reset my TB every time i flash it

You might want to change the row axis to different ECT values,

Here's your 35502 table stock, and then modded, if you click where it says engine coolant temp on the side, those cells are "changeable" just set them to new Temps for the idle to target.

the other thing to do is to modify 35543 , click on where it says Engine run time (S) , you can change those values to any seconds you want, ....so as is , it's
    2.6(seconds) 12.8(seconds) 25.7(seconds) 38.5(seconds)51.2(seconds)

then click on the side of the table where it says Engine Coolant temp and you can modify those values to what you want....

    -4(degrees)
    32(degrees)
    68(degrees)
    140(degrees)
    376(degrees)

Remember to match all ECT values in each table you change. (in the Idle RPM section)

Play with it till it does what you want.
