    Idle Airflow

I'm trying to figure this out and not getting a lot of help Google.

Attached is the idle airflow and multiplier tables. Airflow is measured in grams/second and the multiplier table adjusts the base figure according to ECT and ERT. When I run the numbers (bottom table), it appears the ISC is commanded to let in MORE air when the engine is cold, and less as it runs for longer and as it warms up. I must be missing something here as my knowledge of the ICE is that it needs more fuel when it's cold, not more air! Is it so obvious that I'm supposed to be reading this opposite to what it appears to be?

Nope, more air and fuel when she's cold. Have a look at your cold fuel tables as well. The cold rpm is higher to more air needed there too.
