HP Tuner issues
I'm new to HP Tuner and was hoping for help with an issue i'm having. I have a 2014 ram 1500 with an 8 speed and every time i write my tune to the ecm and tcm my transmission locks in third gear and will not shift to any other gear other than neutral and reverse still work properly? any help would be great, the issue is fixed by writing in the stock tune but i would love to be able to actually change things in the tuning files haha
I think you’re best bet is to open a support ticket with hp

on the trans side what do you have in table [TCM] 46854 - Max Torque Limit: Maximum input shaft torque limit and [TCM] 46856 - Gear Max Torque Limit Normal: Maximum torque limit in relation to gear.
put them back to stock if you have increased those numbers. My charger rt behaves the same way if they are more that 627 lb-ft. in table 46854 and i keep table 46856 stock.
