    MPVI3 Jtec/+/B+ support

we've added support for these in the newest Alpha firmware, if you would like to be added to the Alpha firmware list for this application please contact support directly with the Subject Jtec Alpha firmware Assign to Bill@hptuners and in the body of your message add your MPVI3 serial number and we'll get it added to your account.

Alternately you can wait until its out of Alpha firmware testing which might be a few weeks.

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I sent the message to support as requested, and received a reply (Ticket #70255) with instructions to update the firmware via the Beta version of VCM Suite. After following the procedure, no firmware update was pushed to my MPVI3 and I replied to the support email with that information as well as debug and interface information files.

I'm sorry for the few that fell through the cracks, I'm working on adding several now and hope to have them updated shortly. I apologize for the delay. I've also revamped the instructions so that all of these tickets go to me in the future so there is no confusion.

Bill, understood on the scramble to get things moving. No worries, appreciate the extra effort to get things fixed. I'll try to resync again later and see if the firmware pushes by then

Has anyone with a no-start vehicle been able to get this to work? Mine gives a baud rate timeout and after communication with support was told to have the PCM reprogrammed elsewhere and then try HPT again.

Getting the exact same error message. Does this mean it has to go to a dealership or can a snapon scanner do it also?

No clue, but if the solution is paying someone else to fix the issue that HPT created, you can bet I won't be using or recommending HPT for anything but GM.

Hello Bill@HP Tuners, if I order a MPVI3 now, will it support JTEC when I receive it? (2001 Dodge Dakota). Thanks

New member here, just wanted to post in this thread so I can keep up to date on the progress. I've got 3 jeeps running JTEC pcms, and I'm itching to buy an MPVI3 as soon as they are supported. It's exciting to see you guys are working on it (even if it's not quite there yet)!

Can I deduce from the responses here that you are not currently sending the alpha test update to any more people until the next round of revisions?

    Thanks

The MPVI2 will continue to work correct? There's no plans of dropping support for JTEC vehicles in the future?
