I have a 2015 F550 6.7L Tow Truck that was deleted when we bought it.
Since day one it has always had a check engine light.
MAF-air flow too high
Exhaust Pressure circuit erratic
turbo boost pressure performance
After having to replace the engine, and doing a turbo upgrade to a 2019 turbo we had it re-tuned to accommodate the turbo change. Paid extra for unlimited tunes.
The truck still lags on the low end, and while cruising is hazy.
The CEL is still on, but the MAF code is gone.
I have noticed that while in park, you do not hear the turbo do it's sweep like our other truck.
The engine harness was replaced along with the EBP sensor/tube. the CAC tubes have all been changed and there no signs of leaks anywhere. So, the Tune is the only other thing.
I have tried repeatedly to get ahold of the tuner and never get a call back.
I have pulled the file, and gone thru it. I have the As Built file from Ford for comparison, but it is an .AB file and not compatible with HP Tuners.
Short of using Forscan to put it in, then read it with HPT. I would not want to corrupt the existing file, as some exhaust parts are missing, and I don't want to render the truck unusable. I tried comparing the file with our 2019, but it seems like a lot of differences pop up.
